MISSION STATEMENT: 

The Board of Deacons of Second Baptist Church exists to be a watch care agency over the entire church body.  Its goal is to help the Pastor and/or congregation in the spiritual well being of the body.  The Board seeks to reach these goals by making frequent phone calls, home visits, and benevolent donations to those who exhibit need, and to react to the concerns of the church in an appropriate and responsible manner.
